THE OUTLAW
This is where it all starts, this is where the passion, sweat and love for true BBQ has led us. Over 1000 pounds of masterfully crafted steel that gives you every feature a pitmaster could ask. We include everything with our pits. Not because we don't want to give you any options, but because we want you to have every advantage available every time you fire it up! Through hours of extensive testing with a small tweak here and there, we are certain you will love the way the smoker obeys everything you ask of it. We are certain you will also find the smallest details impressive. Machined stainless steel handles, glow in the dark Tel-Tru thermometers and a 1200 degree finish are standard on every Outlaw made.
The Firebox
With the options of a front or side load, our firebox is second to none!
We have designed the firebox with every bell and whistle needed to build and maintain a constant fire. Our intake damper gives you fine tune adjustments to keep your temps locked in with a spring loaded handle. With the front load option, there is no need to get on and off your porch to throw sticks! The air brought in from the bottom of the firebox uses an oversized intake damper with infinite control and delivers it to the same height as the bottom of your fire basket.
Our formed damper housing will keep the wind from slamming into your firebox and creating havoc on your temperature control. The heavy interior of the firebox is 1/4" thick steel that is covered with 2" ceramic insulation and then housed around a 7 gauge steel skin. Add a 3/8" thick steel door with solid hinges and a tapered latch system and we are sure you will find throwing sticks is almost as easy as starting up your neighbors gas grill!
The Cooking Chamber
The cooking chamber follows the same quality and attention to detail as the firebox. The foundation starts out with heavy rolled 7 gauge steel. The cooking chamber comes with the option of 26" or 28" in diameter by 60" long. We have a drain on each end to accommodate the different chassis as well as the pitmasters preference. The heavy rod, smooth grates and the removable microwave shelf make this cook chamber one of the best!
Quick Detach Powder coated Steel Exhaust
The quick detach powder coated steel exhaust is made of 6" steel pipe and features a fully machined damper assembly that can be customized if you choose. If the stack needs removed to fit into a trailer, we have made it as easy as loosening the bolts a smidge and twisting to release!
Fire Basket and Heavy Grate
Included with your firebox is a elevated fire basket with a solid rod grate bottom and a floating piece of expanded metal to keep your coal base burning hot.
